Since UNM is the only academic center in New Mexico, we receive referrals from all over the state as well as border states, and this contributes to the unique and wide variety of pathology we see in clinic on a daily basis. We also have the opportunity to work at various clinic sites which allows us to see different parts of the state while also serving our communities and learning more about local culture.
